I’m a therapist with more than 10 years experience in the field, in a wide variety of different settings. I prefer to utilize a Person-Centered, Solution-Focused perspective in providing treatment, and I'm highly practiced in a variety of CBT-based techniques. I'm happy to speak at length with patients about childhood traumas, their subconscious needs, and the impact of family upbringing on their adult lives- but that doesn't have to be therapy!

I strive to listen without judgement because I understand each client’s unique circumstances, and work collaboratively to maintain and develop individualized treatment plans that promotes recovery, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing.

I am beyond grateful to be able to provide a safe space for my client's to process stress, learn new things, and have their most vulnerable moments. So much of the time we try to ignore or push away our problems, but part of my job is to remind you that its okay not to be okay and sometimes life just sucks. I love helping teens and young adults with all of the transitions that come with growing up, the good and the bad. I also have experience with and enjoy working with individuals with Autism.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credentialed by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. I work with adults and teens who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, trauma, or life stress and feel stuck despite trying to cope alone. Others seek clarity around symptoms or support during major life transitions. Children and adolescents may struggle with emotional regulation, attention, mood changes, or behavioral concerns. Often, individuals or parents want relief and a clear path forward with a provider who listens and helps them feel more balanced, focused, and hopeful.
I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner for over 5 years, and I am also a board certified adult nurse practitioner for over 12 years. I began my nursing career graduating from university of MD with my bachelors, and then attended Johns Hopkins University for my masters. I decided to further my education by attending Brandman University to obtain my Doctorate and psychiatric mental health certification in 2018.
I see therapy as a space for connection, self-discovery, and becoming more grounded in who you are. After 10+ years in this field, I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear and doesn’t have to be complicated or clinical - it can be honest, real, and human.
I’d like to consider myself a down-to-earth therapist who believes we often carry more strength, wisdom, and ability to heal and grow than we realize. I believe in caring for the whole person and exploring the many ways we can reconnect with ourselves, including through movement, time in nature, and simply listening to what our bodies are telling us. My heart has always been in empowering people to navigate the different parts of themselves, understand their experiences, and feel more confident in who they are becoming. I want my clients to feel seen, supported, and free to simply be themselves.
My primary population focus is teenage girls and young women, supporting them through family and women’s issues, stress, anxiety, ADHD, anger management. But everyone is welcome here, if you feel a good vibe and think i'm a good fit for you, reach out, i'd be happy to help.
My approach incorporates CBT, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
I bring compassion, honesty, good energy, and a genuine belief that growth doesn’t require you to become someone else. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, embracing all the different parts of who you are, and discovering the strength and potential that have been there all along. I’ll meet you where you are, walk alongside you through the hard parts, and challenge you when you need a reminder of what you’re capable of ✨
