I have worked with individuals, couples and families with a particular emphasis on crisis intervention and the impact of mental illness on the family system. My name is Sarah Cardenas. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) based in central Maryland, and the founder of Two Sparrows Counseling of Maryland. I primarily work with children ages 5 and up, moms, and individuals navigating recovery from substance use, gambling, or other addictions.

Ashley Bedeau, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Counselor. As an African American-Trinidadian, I offer a unique perspective in my practice. With a background in trauma care, dual-diagnosis treatment, and first responder wellness, I employ a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to promote resilience and healing. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges with empathy and confidence.

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a primary care background. I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. My focus areas are adults and geriatric patients.

She works with patients dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, and many others. She utilizes a mix of medications and psychotherapy, and works with devoted staff to offer alternative treatments that may be beneficial to patients. Dr. Agbor follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. She also ensures the quality of care, and open communication lines between all members of the healthcare team. Dr. Agbor has strong clinical skills, enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.
