Hi, I'm Brian. I specialize in helping with men's issues, anxiety, depression and relationships. I have experience working with individuals within the LGBTIQA+ community, Military/Veterans, and those who follow non-secular spiritual paths.

Life is a journey with many unexpected setbacks, life challenges and experiences. I am here to help you manage your journey. My practice is dedicated to providing quality mental health care to help people achieve goals or master skills aimed toward improving their quality of life. I've been practicing for 22 years.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. My undergraduate B.A and graduate M.A. training took place at Wheaton College. Following graduate school in the midwest, I moved to the west coast, where I attended the California School of Professional Psychology. Here, I earned a M.A in applied psychology and Psy. D. in clinical psychology with a dual emphasis in forensics and family therapy. My research consisted of working with high risk sexual offenders. Following my time on the west coast, I worked as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at a local university. In my free time, I train in combat arts and play guitar (try at least ;-).

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who attained my Master's in clinical counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have approximately 15 years of experience providing compassionate and effecting counseling services in an array of settings including both community and hospital based.

I take pride in having the opportunity to serve a diverse population which has included children, adults, couples, and families across a broad spectrum of needs. Some of the unique needs have included supporting individuals who are seeking to gain a better approach to their life while going through difficulties with self-identity, relationship challenges, trauma, substance use issues, or navigating challenging life transitions.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who believes that true and lasting healing happens when we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—not just symptoms. I approach each patient with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect, ensuring you feel empowered to explore your healing journey in a safe and supportive space.

I’m a multilingual (English, German, French) licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience helping people through life’s challenges. I’ve worked with individuals of different ages and backgrounds in the United States and internationally, including in schools, hospitals, residential programs, and community mental health settings. I hold a Master of Social Work, a Bachelor of Social Work from Vienna, Austria, and a CADC. I have experience supporting people through trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, cultural and identity concerns, and everyday stress. I value creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I see therapy as a collaborative process and am here to meet you where you are and support you in finding greater balance, clarity, and effective ways to cope with life’s challenges.
