Hello, I’m Michael Treptow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. I take a warm and collaborative approach, helping clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and feel more confident in managing stress and emotions. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and school or family-related concerns. My goal is to meet you where you are and work together to create meaningful, realistic change.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have been working in the field of mental health sense 2006. I have a Master's Degree in International Social Justice and Public Policy as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work. I have a background in Addictions, Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and Chronic Illness. I have worked in hospitals, outpatient programs as well as group and residential therapy.

You don't have to have it figured out before our first conversation. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and the quiet weight that stress, grief, and anger can carry over time. I have a particular focus on men's mental health and the challenges that come with asking for support when you've always been expected to handle it. I've spent over a decade in non-profit work with young adults and families, college counseling, and private practice, meeting people at a wide range of starting points. As a career woman, licensed attorney, mother, divorcee, and active community member, I bring my own life experience and vast education to my work. I have been practicing since 2012, after being clinically trained at Loyola University Chicago, where I spent extensive time working with both adolescents and adults.

I have been helping clients globally with a variety of issues in my core areas of expertise, including addiction, mood disorders, and identity issues.

I am also certified in Financial Social Work, bridging my passions for personal finance and emotional well-being.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 28 years of experience partnering with adolescents, adults of all ages and families. I am bilingual so I offer therapy in english and spanish.
