Throughout my career, I have primarily worked with school-age children and their families, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges with compassion and practical guidance.

I have a fundamental belief in the transformative power of therapy. I come to this belief not just as a practicing therapist but as someone who was profoundly shaped by therapy as a young man. Having started my own journey with doubt and hesitation, I deeply respect the courage it takes to begin this work. I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Illinois, Alabama, and Arizona with over 19 years of experience working as a social worker/therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, addiction, co-dependency, interventions and family dynamic issues. I also have experience working with individuals going through various medical diagnosis as well their caregivers from diagnosis to end of life and grief and loss therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults. My therapy style is warm and interactive. Specialize in trauma work as well.

I have 35 years of experience working within the community mental health arena. It has provided me with a strong foundation and opportunity to work with a variety of client populations which includes outpatient therapy, alcohol and drug addictions treatment, gambling addiction, inpatient psych, and inpatient medical stabilization for alcohol/opiate detoxification. My goal is to support & empower my consumers to discover their inner strength.
