I’ve been serving individuals, families, and communities in behavioral health for over 20 years. My experience spans community mental health, substance abuse treatment, employee assistance programs, probation and parole systems, juvenile courts, and crisis intervention settings.

I’ve worked closely with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, life transitions, court involvement, workplace stress, and family conflict. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when multiple systems — work, family, legal, or financial — are weighing on you at once.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. My role is to help you sort through what feels heavy, clarify what needs attention first, and create a practical plan for change.

I am a dual certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in tandum with medication management. I strive to help individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to find balance in their daily lives. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, mood instability, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, or life transitions that feel difficult to manage alone. Hi, I'm Mary. I work with individuals 16+ struggling with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field, with specialized training in trauma, crisis intervention, and eating disorder treatment.

My curiosity about substance abuse and family systems sparked my interest in this field, leading me to study substance abuse counseling, which eventually deepened my passion for psychology.

Over the years, I’ve worked in Connecticut alongside DCF and the court systems. Since starting as a case manager in 1995, I’ve continued to grow and gain valuable experience in this ever-evolving field of psychology.

I want you to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings so that you can move forward towards your life goals.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Carolina University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina.

Yosheika is a passionate therapist with roots in Athens, GA. A proud Piedmont College Psychology graduate since 2010, she has dedicated her career to social services and behavioral health. In 2019 things came full circle when she graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master's in Social work. With diverse experience in community mental health, K-12 and secondary education, Dept of Family & Children Services, and substance use recovery, she's here to help you navigate life's challenges.

Reaching out can be hard and I am here to help begin the process of healing and being there to help us become a better you. My goal and desire is to help teach you and provide you the essentials to overcome your obstacles. When life gets overwhelming at times, we forget to take care of ourselves.
