Welcome! If this is your first stop in deciding whether therapy is right for you, congratulations. I know it can be incredibly difficult to take the first step towards finding a therapist who is the right fit for you. As a therapist, my primary goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and understood. I view therapy as a cooperative space between us. You are the expert of your life, and my job is to ask the right questions to bring clarity, direction, and self-compassion. Sometimes, this looks like sitting in silence together. Other times, it looks like a gentle nudge to push you towards the potential we both know you have.
I earned my Master's in Counseling and PsyD at Fuller Theological Seminary. I have had the privilege of working in hospitals, universities, private practice, and community mental health settings, and these experiences have given me a broad perspective on the unique difficulties facing individuals. My clinical training includes a specialty in spirituality and religious experiences (i.e., religious trauma and deconstruction). I work with individuals 18+ and help individuals who are navigating life transitions and/or relationship difficulties.
I specialize in evidence-based treatments for patients suffering from anxiety, OCD, Depression, and trauma related disorders. These treatments are more effective and efficient than traditional therapy because they directly target symptoms. I provide specific exercises aimed at breaking behavioral patterns that maintain symptoms. Traditional psychotherapy emphasizes gaining insight which in itself often does not lead to symptom reduction. Changing what you do will you change how you feel.
Great to meet you!
Hello, I’m Channa Rochester, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental and emotional well-being. With over a decade of experience in healthcare and mental health settings, I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, or life stressors. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked for many years as a psychiatric mental health nurse, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals in inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and community mental health settings. Hi, I’m Asajnae Mercadel, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in healthcare. My background in nursing has given me a strong foundation in understanding both the physical and emotional aspects of patient care. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and sleep-related concerns. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being open and honest. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your mental health journey.
My journey started with volunteering in the Guidance Counselor's office at my high school. In this setting, my emotional intelligence and level of empathy began to grow. I decided to study Psychology to understand how the mind works, then studied Social Work to understand how that mind works when affected by events in the environment. I have worked extensively with children/ students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/ AIDS, the elderly, Veterans, Immigrants, couples and families. I accept clients no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background. I utilize a strength- based approach for my clients as I believe we all have the ability to take control of our own lives.
My names is Vashawn Mosley. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I also have a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I have greater than 16 years working in mental health, with greater than 5 years working as a PMHNP.
You’re the one who usually has everything under control, but lately, the "strong" version of you feels like a mask that’s getting too heavy to wear. Whether you’re a mother wondering why you feel detached from the life you worked so hard to build, or a parent exhausted by the cycle of ADHD-related challenges—you don’t have to carry this alone.
I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can stop surviving and start thriving. My approach is patient-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, tailored to move you toward a life where you feel present, connected, and capable.
I specialize in:
- Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health: Navigating the "new reality" of motherhood.
- High-Achieving Professionals: Managing burnout, perfectionism, and "mental load."
- Neurodiversity-Affirming Care: Supporting parents and children navigating ADHD and behavioral hurdles.
Why Work With Me?
I offer a "cozy" office experience in Houston, TX, and convenient virtual care across 7 states ( DE, FL, GA, IA, KS, MT, and TX). My goal is to make mental health easy, accessible and relatable.
Hello! I have been working with kids, teens and adults for over 10 years. I can help with issues around anxiety, ADHD, OCD, relationship issues and grief/loss. I operate from a ACT model incorporating mindfulness and ERP for OCD and anxiety.
