Welcome! If this is your first stop in deciding whether therapy is right for you, congratulations. I know it can be incredibly difficult to take the first step towards finding a therapist who is the right fit for you. As a therapist, my primary goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and understood. I view therapy as a cooperative space between us. You are the expert of your life, and my job is to ask the right questions to bring clarity, direction, and self-compassion. Sometimes, this looks like sitting in silence together. Other times, it looks like a gentle nudge to push you towards the potential we both know you have.
I earned my Master's in Counseling and PsyD at Fuller Theological Seminary. I have had the privilege of working in hospitals, universities, private practice, and community mental health settings, and these experiences have given me a broad perspective on the unique difficulties facing individuals. My clinical training includes a specialty in spirituality and religious experiences (i.e., religious trauma and deconstruction). I work with individuals 18+ and help individuals who are navigating life transitions and/or relationship difficulties.
I have over 17 years of experience helping adults, teens, and families in crisis. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and hold additional certifications as a Master Addictions Counselor and a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor. Hi, I’m a compassionate Nurse Practitioner, who believes healing starts with feeling safe, heard, and understood. I work with adults navigating anxiety, insomnia, depression, opioid addiction, and postpartum depression, using practical, evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs. My style is supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative—I meet you where you are and move at your pace. Together, we’ll focus on building skills, insight, and hope for lasting change.
I am a dual-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 28 years of experience in healthcare. I believe in meeting clients where they are by creating a trusting environment for open communication. Using solution-focused interventions, I empower my patients to accept their current situations and facilitate positive changes to enhance their overall mental well-being.
Welcome! My goal is to partner with families to help clients live happy, healthy lives. Whether you've experienced side effects from medication or haven't seen the progress you hoped for, I'm here to work with you toward a solution.
Finding the right medication is only part of the picture — truly understanding what's happening in your life matters just as much. That's why I incorporate brief, solution-focused therapy into every visit and make a point of staying in close communication with your other providers.
As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I have extensive training and experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and a range of other behavioral health challenges. I also enjoy working with young adults in their twenties who are navigating the unique transitions and challenges that come with that stage of life.
I have a special interest in women's health — particularly during the perinatal period and menopause — as well as the unique needs of healthcare workers.
You’re the one who usually has everything under control, but lately, the "strong" version of you feels like a mask that’s getting too heavy to wear. Whether you’re a mother wondering why you feel detached from the life you worked so hard to build, or a parent exhausted by the cycle of ADHD-related challenges—you don’t have to carry this alone.
I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can stop surviving and start thriving. My approach is patient-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, tailored to move you toward a life where you feel present, connected, and capable.
I specialize in:
- Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health: Navigating the "new reality" of motherhood.
- High-Achieving Professionals: Managing burnout, perfectionism, and "mental load."
- Neurodiversity-Affirming Care: Supporting parents and children navigating ADHD and behavioral hurdles.
Why Work With Me?
I offer a "cozy" office experience in Houston, TX, and convenient virtual care across 7 states ( DE, FL, GA, IA, KS, MT, and TX). My goal is to make mental health easy, accessible and relatable.
