I look forward to connecting with you.
I’m a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings both learned and lived experience into the room. I’ve spent years in healthcare, particularly oncology, sitting with people through some of the hardest, messiest, most uncertain seasons of their lives. I also know that understanding mental health from a textbook and actually living through hard things are two very different kinds of education. I bring both. I’m what I like to call a two in one provider. I combine medication management and therapy because I don’t believe mental health care should stop at a prescription. Medication can absolutely be part of the answer, but so can your sleep, relationships, stress, trauma, physical health, environment, habits, and the life you’re actually living. I want the whole picture. And I keep it real. I’m warm, direct, honest, and yes, there will probably be humor. You don’t need the perfect words or a polished version of yourself with me. We figure out what’s actually going on, what isn’t working, and what makes sense for you. Because the goal isn’t just to feel “less bad.” It’s to help you feel more like yourself again.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly understood. My work is rooted in compassion and connection, honoring your unique experiences while helping you move toward healing, balance, and greater peace within yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, celebrate your strengths, and cultivate the meaningful change you’re seeking in your life.
Hello, my name is Aracelys Cruz, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I completed my advanced training in psychiatric nursing at FNU/PMHNP-BC. I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them feel heard, respected, and empowered. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, combining therapy, lifestyle guidance, and medication management when needed. My goal is to walk alongside you as we build a path toward balance and wellness.
I have dedicated my life to making a positive impact in the lives of children and teens. My career as a licensed mental health counselor lets me do this every day. I have a Master’s degree in mental health counseling and addiction studies, as well as advanced training in relational interventions and trauma processing with children and teens. I also frequently treat anxiety, depression, and perfectionism, as well as work towards increasing my clients' self-confidence. I love what I do!
Finding the right support can feel overwhelming, and I want to make that journey a little easier. I bring genuine warmth to every session, with a deep commitment to meeting you where you are. Whether you're working through anxiety, facing depression, or navigating the challenges of addiction, my goal is to help you feel seen, understood, and equipped with tools that work in your life. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, and creating that space is something I take seriously.
