Welcome! My name is Dr. Natalia Kuzmina, PhD. I hold a LMFT/LCMFT license in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Kansas. I earned my PhD. in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University and my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University.
Hi and welcome! Reaching out for help can be one of the hardest first steps, so I'm glad you're here. I am a licensed mental health therapist who works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, relationship concerns, and attachment wounds. I also have many years of experience working with people struggling with substance use.
I graduated from The Ohio State University with my DNP in 2020 focusing on efficient pathways to implement depression screening post-stroke to identify mental health needs. After working a couple years as a nurse practitioner within neurosurgery, I transitioned from Ohio to Florida and pursued my PMHNP certification from Florida State University. Over the past 5 years I have been treating psychiatric needs in LTC around Florida. I am currently working to expand into independent practice and work personally with individuals creating a therapeutic relationship and enhancing their mental health.
Do you feel alone or misunderstood, or are you looking for an unbiased person to listen? You’re not alone. My name is Karie Talkington. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and I have been working with children, teens, and adults for the past 24 years in various capacities. I help clients and families navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and life changes with compassion. I specialize in autism, ADHD, and trauma. My goal is to help you feel more secure, confident, and connected—to help you live your best life!
Clients should know that I’m down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and a genuine person. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be real—no masks, no pressure, no shame. I bring warmth and care into the room, along with a sense of humor when it’s helpful, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful.
I’m also solution-focused and collaborative. That means we’ll spend time understanding what’s going on, but we won’t get stuck there. We’ll work together to identify practical tools, coping strategies, and small, realistic steps that can help you feel better in your day-to-day life. Above all, I care deeply about meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and aligned with your goals. If you do not see your insurance provider listed and you are interested in private pay, please email me at [email protected] or find me on Psychology today under Nicole McCray and send me a message.
I specialize in PTSD, anxiety, depression, and support for gay, lesbian, and bisexual clients. For 16 years, I’ve helped people navigate crisis, chronic mental health concerns, and life transitions with care and clarity.
My experience includes inpatient psychiatry, corrections, community mental health, youth counseling, and hospital-based crisis care. I provide diagnostic assessments and therapy tailored to each person’s needs.
I’m committed to creating a supportive, goal-focused space where you can feel heard and understood. If you’re ready to begin healing and move forward, I’d be honored to work with you.
