I am currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology (PsyD), and I also hold a master’s degree in counseling. My training has included work in a variety of clinical settings, where I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. At the core of my work is the belief that people are incredibly resilient, even when it doesn’t feel that way. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 18 years of experience in general health and 7 years of mental health. I diagnose and treat mental disorders with a sense of comfort and trust. My practice combines the best of psychiatric services with focus on the best treatment plan for your general well-being.

I have a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College in the State of New York, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY and FL. I have extensive experience with dual diagnoses including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. I additionally have significant experience counseling individuals through various life transitions. I have extensive experience working with family conflict and am certified in alternative dispute resolution techniques.

Clients should know that I’m down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and a genuine person. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be real—no masks, no pressure, no shame. I bring warmth and care into the room, along with a sense of humor when it’s helpful, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful.

I’m also solution-focused and collaborative. That means we’ll spend time understanding what’s going on, but we won’t get stuck there. We’ll work together to identify practical tools, coping strategies, and small, realistic steps that can help you feel better in your day-to-day life.
