My name is Sharnice, I am a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of clinical experience supporting individuals and families navigating a wide range of mental health and medical concerns.

My psychiatric specializations include mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use conditions. As a dual-certified provider, I also bring a primary care lens to my psychiatric practice — allowing me to treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

As an LMHC, I especially enjoy working with people who may feel apprehensive about starting counseling, as well as those navigating substance use, addiction, depression, family issues, and trauma who are motivated to make changes in their lives and become the best version of themselves. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
