Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping people navigate life's challenges. I graduated from UCF and have called Florida home for the past 24 years. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. While I work with clients facing a variety of concerns and come from all walks of life, I especially enjoy working with women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-worth, and relationship challenges. I love helping clients gain insight, find their voice, and make meaningful changes that help them feel more confident and fulfilled.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I want to walk alongside you and help to empower you. Together, we find hope.
I am dedicated to the mental health field and have been both a therapist and a clinical supervisor. My areas of knowledge include trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, adjustment disorder, substance abuse, ADHD, self-esteem issues, and life transition difficulties. I work with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families.
If you've spent a long time handling everything on your own, the idea of opening up in therapy can feel uncomfortable — maybe even a little vulnerable. You might be stuck in your head, second-guessing yourself, or repeating patterns you can't quite break no matter how hard you try. You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out. You just need a willingness to start, and I'll meet you right there.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with clinical experience since 2019 across private practice, healthcare, and specialized care for older adults, couples, and families. I specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, , and older adults.
Every session I conduct is rooted in trauma-informed care and a commitment to meeting you where you are. Incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI),Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I offer a holistic and flexible approach to help you develop effective coping mechanisms, strengthen relationships, and achieve your personal goals.
Breaking Generational Cycles! Casey loves their family though some behaviors are toxic. They want to make sure the cycle stops with them. They aren't sure how. That's where therapy comes in. In therapy they have a private space that’s entirely theirs. They have someone who listens and doesn't interrupt or talk only about themselves. They don’t have to filter what they say, manage anyone else’s feelings, or worry about being “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “dramatic.” Together, we focus on what’s underneath the anxiety and repeating patterns, helping Casey understand themselves and approach relationships with greater clarity and intention. This ultimately stops the generational, toxic cycle. Hi, I'm Alicia. If this sounds like something you'd like to work on, let's talk about it. I've been in the field for over 15 years and have helped numerous clients with breaking cycles of all kinds. I especially enjoy working with young adults.
Stephany Rivera (she/her/ella) is a Florida-based Latinx, English, and Spanish speaking Social Worker. She is a proud first-generation Colombian-American and college graduate who has experienced the marginalization of coming from an immigrant family. These experiences have informed her passion of providing each client with a supportive space to overcome the stigmas of mental health in BIPOC communities. Stephany is an LGBTQ+ ally who devotes herself to anti-racism in her therapy and daily life.
