I am a Master's level Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting you in your journey toward wholeness. I have worked with clients from children to older adults, supporting them around anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and abuse, and relationship concerns. My clients come from diverse cultures. I enjoy finding what we have in common as well as what makes us each unique. While acknowledging your struggles, I want to help you move toward your strengths in your own context.

I've been assisting people in the Denver area for the past thirty years. I have worked in inpatient psychiatry and drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and I currently teach psychology and related subjects at the University of Denver. Although my clinical specialties are working with adolescents and addictive issues, I also work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with mood disorders, anger management, men's issues, and spiritual issues.

As a Missouri Ozarks native, nature and the outdoors have always played a huge part in my healing journey and mental health. Growing up, I was outside any chance I got; riding bikes, riding horses, climbing trees, bird watching, rock collecting, camping, hiking, floating, boating, spelunking, exploring creeks, and enjoying campfires. Nature immersion, movement in nature, outdoor recreation, and horsemanship remain part of my daily practice; and I incorporate these into my therapeutic work wherever possible.
