Hi, I'm Vielka Centeno, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing online psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Serving patients in Florida, New York, and Colorado.

I offer care in English and Spanish, accept participating insurance plans, and provide convenient virtual appointments, including select evenings and Saturdays.

I enjoy taking a person centered, strength based approach to therapy. I like to spend time getting to know my clients, their view of the world, and the experiences that have shaped them. On the surface, substance use has been my speciality, but I find that substance use is typically secondary to underlying mental health or trauma related concerns. Because of that, I have experience in a wide range of concerns and practice with varying approaches suited to meet the individual client's needs.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling, my approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a holistic understanding of mental wellness. I believe that mental health care is most effective when it is personalized and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals. I work with individuals, couples, and families aged 16 to 65, providing care that is inclusive, affirming, and tailored to each client’s specific needs.

I am a dually trained Psychiatic Mental Health NP as well as a Family NP. I graduated from the university of Alabama in 2016 (roll tide). While I work with people of all walks of life I especially enjoy treating women age 18-45 . I enjoy helping them navigate through transitional/challenging periods of life whether you're in college, just entering the workforce or a stay at home mom trying to juggle it all. I'm here and ready to help you feel more regulated and capable to meet life's demands. I specialize in anxiety, depression ADHD and PTSD . I have a patient centered collaborative approach.
