I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 20 years. I am trained and experienced in several modalities including EMDR, mindfulness, Family Systems, Imago, the principles of Interpersonal Neurobiology and early attachment. It has been a profound privilege being on this journey with others. Participating in a process where others dive deep into their vulnerable truth, has given my life great meaning. I've been called to provide a space for others to be seen, heard, and known in the midst of their feelings of shame, guilt, fear, inadequacy, unworthiness, and vulnerability and through their experience of being more truly known be reminded of their profound value and worthiness
Andrea Uliano brings over 20 years of clinical healthcare experience, beginning her career as a clinical social worker before transitioning to a registered nurse and ultimately becoming a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a strong foundation in both mental health and medicine, Andrea’s practice is rooted in a holistic philosophy that prioritizes balance, connection, and individualized care.
Throughout her career, Andrea has remained committed to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. She avoids quick fixes and extreme regimens, instead focusing on thoughtful, goal-oriented solutions that honor the deep connection between the mind and body. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and long-term wellness rather than temporary results.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Andrea has called the mountains of Vail and Summit County home for the past 16 years. Living in a small mountain community has given her a unique understanding of the challenges faced by locals, allowing her to connect deeply with her patients. She has a particular passion for working with individuals navigating substance and alcohol use, anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, and women’s health concerns.
I work primarily with adults experiencing substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with 9 years of experience in private practice, inpatient substance use clinics, and community based mental health centers.
I'm a psychologist helping clients to navigate transition and overcome destructive patterns. I have expertise in treating anxiety, ocd, adhd, trauma, depression, addiction, recovery, and relationship challenges. I've had a private practice for over 10 years and work with adult clients at all stages of life. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies, with intensive training at the Portia Bell Hume Center, Kaiser, UCSF, VA and the Jung Institute.
Katrina is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and over a decade of experience in healthcare, beginning in 2010. I work collaboratively with my clients as a team, moving at a pace that feels right for you. While respecting past experiences and coping strategies, I gently guide clients toward a growth-oriented mindset and utilize evidence-based psychotherapy practices that help you break free from limiting patterns and promote lasting change. Through compassion, collaboration, and clinical expertise, I support clients in progressing toward improved mental health, resilience, and overall well-being.
