I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and commitment to your mental health journey. This may feel like a holistic and person-centered approach that explores bodily consciousness, emotional processing, belief systems, social supports, cultural upbringing, and past trauma. You can also expect to develop practical tools for managing stress and building resilience as well. Above all, therapy should leave you feeling empowered, capable, and heard. My goal is to foster a safe environment where you feel free to open up without fear of judgement and the accountability to progress towards your goals, both within and beyond our sessions.

I work with individuals facing complex concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. As a Missouri Ozarks native, nature and the outdoors have always played a huge part in my healing journey and mental health. Growing up, I was outside any chance I got; riding bikes, riding horses, climbing trees, bird watching, rock collecting, camping, hiking, floating, boating, spelunking, exploring creeks, and enjoying campfires. Nature immersion, movement in nature, outdoor recreation, and horsemanship remain part of my daily practice; and I incorporate these into my therapeutic work wherever possible.

Hi, do you struggle to relate to yourself and others? I am a trauma therapist specializing in loneliness, anxiety, and depression related to past trauma.
After working for years with folks who feel hopeless about their future happiness, I have come to realize that healing and wellness are usually more within our reach than we think. If you witnessed violence in the past, or feel misunderstood as a child and have a complicated relationship with your culture and family that prevents you from being who you are, we can find ease and wellness together.
It takes courage to challenge our traumas and become the person who relates in healthier ways. I am here to support you on that journey. Together, we will grieve what is lost and rebuild who you are.
Like many, I live in and love the state of Colorado. Any chance I get I'm out exploring the outdoors. It provides balance in my personal and professional life.
As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner I share my interests with clients I see.
When I was working full-time as a Family Nurse Practitioner I saw an unmet need in clients finding a balance in their physical and mental health. I decided to return to school to strengthen my knowledge in psychiatric mental health care.
For the past five years my focus has included seeing clients with substance dependence, MAT treatment, ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I especially enjoy the 1:1 experience via telehealth seeing clients in the comforts of their own home.
I believe healing happens in a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with over 12 years of experience working with children, youth, and families.
