I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who helps people heal from the inside out.
I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults for years, and one thing I’ve learned is that healing happens when we feel seen, safe, and accepted exactly as we are. My style is warm, real, and collaborative. I meet you where you are, and we go from there.
I believe therapy and psychiatric care should feel human, not clinical, rushed, or impersonal. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported from the very first conversation. I take time to understand your story, your values, and what you want your life to look like, not just your symptoms.
I bring over a decade of experience working in mental health and addiction, and I use a balanced approach that blends evidence-based treatment with compassion and real connection. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all care. Your treatment is collaborative, flexible, and designed to support long-term growth, not just short-term relief.
Above all, you should know that you will not be treated like a diagnosis. You will be treated like a person.
I was a victim of trauma, which caused me to seek healing through therapy and by the grace of God. I became a therapist as I have experience walking out of the pain and suffering and embracing healing as a victor over the bondage of complex trauma. Additionally, I am an immigrant and first generation, Asian American Filipino, who has first hand experience with migration, navigating complex structural corporate systems as I was previously working in law, and in vet medicine. Now my goal in life is to run back into the darkness to help walk and guide you into the light.
Hello and nice to meet you!! A little about me is that I graduated from UC Berkeley and USC and have worked for many years serving clients across the mental health spectrum. Whether with clients in private health care settings or through my role at UCSF in the Psych E.R. services, I like to take a mindful, holistic, and trauma-informed approach and uses various tools to create a unique, adaptive path when working with a Client.
I have experience working with children, youth, adults, families, couples but in the last few years, I have shifted my main focus to work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma and depression. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 22 years and been practicing as a therapist for about 10 years. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I believe that prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be difficult, so congratulations on taking your first step to start therapy.
