I have been in the psychology field for over 20 years. I have an extensive background treating public safety, military, hospital personnel and there families for trauma, work related stressors and family issues. I have treated people who have survived trauma and I am also a trauma survivor. I have worked substance abuse treatment facilities and both inpatient and out patient psychiatric hospitals treating moderate to severe mental heath problems.
I am experienced in conducting diagnostic testing evaluations, fitness for work and pre-employment evaluations. I am a court recognized expert in a few different areas.
Due to my time practicing and vast experience nothing suprises me. I have seen, heard or dealt with most things in the this field. You cannot put a price tag on experience. I have also lived life and have experienced many things myself that clients come into my office wanting help with. I don't know about you but I like getting help from those that have treated the issues in the past or have gone through it themselves versus those that have read about it in books.
Outside of private practice, I have worked at Ocean Recovery as a therapist since 2014, thus specialize in working with women seeking help from eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and infertility.
Hi, I'm Travis Buchanan, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC). I know that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps a person takes, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges.
Over the years, I've worked with individuals facing a wide range of struggles, including relationship difficulties, addiction and recovery, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, and the impact of unhealthy or abusive relationships. My experience has taught me that while our challenges may shape us, they do not define us.
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique story. Rather than offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel understood, gain insight, and discover new ways of moving forward.
Drawing from Adlerian principles and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, strengthen their relationships, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, struggling with addiction, or simply seeking a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment, therapy can provide a path toward a healthier and more meaningful life.
My goal is to help you not only overcome obstacles but also build the confidence, connection, and sense of direction needed to thrive. Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to face it alone.
I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where I walk alongside you rather than ahead of you. For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, substance use, chronic pain, and life transitions. My background in clinical psychology, along with board certification in biofeedback and neurofeedback, allows me to integrate both psychological and physiological approaches to healing. Most importantly, I deeply respect the uniqueness of your lived experience and strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Hi & Welcome. We all face challenges at times throughout our lives. We may need support finding self-awareness and compassion which I believe is the key in the healing process. I enjoy acting as an empowering guide along your journey. I believe in our innate capacity to change and create a meaningful and UPLIFTING life. My goal for you is to foster a safe, accepting and also challenging space that encourages personal growth and empowers you to make positive changes that support your values.
Finding the right mental health provider is an important step toward healing, and I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and understood. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.
I have experience caring for patients in both outpatient and correctional mental health settings, treating individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions across diverse populations. In my outpatient practice, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, postpartum depression, and other mental health concerns. My background in correctional psychiatry has provided valuable experience working with individuals facing acute psychiatric symptoms, substance withdrawal, crisis situations, and complex mental health needs.
Life is Difficult! Many obstacles and challenges! I've been practicing 25+ years assisting adults (of all ages) and teens (15+) with major life changes, mild/moderate depression, anxiety, relationship/attachment issues, sobriety and its relation to mental health. I also work with high functioning career/work choices - helping students/adult-professionals find Purpose-Vision, and Ambition in their career (Life/Career-Coaching). I employ talk therapy to alleviate symptoms, elevate mood, increase self-awareness and existing strengths. I also help people in recovery to alleviate 'Character Defects' that continue on in sobriety.
I work with adolescents and adults and offer individual, couples, and family therapy. I help individuals identify their goals and make the changes necessary to help them lead more productive and fulfilling lives. I am directive, and I provide a warm, caring and non-judgmental environment to explore the issues and life-events with which you may be struggling.
Many of the struggles that bring us to therapy—anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, self-doubt, or feeling stuck—have deeper roots than we realize. Sometimes these patterns develop through painful experiences, major life transitions, or family systems that taught us to prioritize others, question ourselves, or adapt in ways that no longer serve us. Therapy offers the opportunity to understand these patterns and create lasting change.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the spouse of a retired Army Veteran, I've spent much of my adult life living in different parts of the country and world, continually building community and connection wherever life led. Those experiences deepened my understanding of resilience, belonging, and the many ways people adapt through change, loss, and transition. I bring that perspective into my work, creating a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where individuals, couples, and families feel genuinely seen and understood.
Together, we'll work to understand the deeper patterns shaping your life, strengthen your relationships, and help you move toward a more authentic, fulfilling way of living.
My name is Heidi Dryer and I obtained my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2015 but I started practicing in 2012 under supervision. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and I am also certified in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health. I specialize in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Healing from complex trauma requires looking at your whole self, not just your symptoms. Complex trauma leaves a lasting blueprint on your mind, body, and nervous system, which is why traditional talk therapy alone often feels like it isn't enough. An integrative health approach addresses this by combining gentle psychological healing with body-based therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle support to help you feel safe in your own skin again.
My hope is to help the client and families reach their goals and to provide them with a safe and non-judgmental place to do that. When working with a client, I will assist in allowing the clients to process their feelings and thoughts in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and have a strong understanding of deaf culture.
I have many years of experience working with couples, families, adults, young adults, teens, and children.
