Hello. My name is Julie and I am a licensed mental health counselor. In addition to working in WA state in a clinic setting, I have spent five years in Singapore working as a social/emotional counselor in a large international high school. In that role, I supported students and families from over 75 countries in the world. That helps me to view counseling from an inclusive and culturally sensitive space. I now make my home in the beautiful PNW and am excited to ground my practice here.
I'm a trilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Portuguese & Spanish). I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University. Availability for in person Thursday appointments 1pm and 3pm! As both a therapist and dietitian, I offer holistic, mind-body care for relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. My goal is to create a safe space where you can slow down, be present, and thoughtfully explore yourself and your needs.

With 12 years of mental health experience, I support adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, disordered eating, low self-esteem, career uncertainty, and relationship or family-of-origin concerns. Hello! It's great to meet you. I'm Autumn Halliwell, a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. I work with clients who are facing significant life changes, experiencing mood disorders, working through trauma and its impact, or just need some help finding some insight in the moment. I identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and polyamorous communities.
I believe the best mental health care begins with listening. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and life stressors. My approach is collaborative and personalized, taking time to understand the whole person, not just their symptoms.
Together, we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, which may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, and brief supportive therapy during medication management visits. While I incorporate therapeutic techniques into our appointments to help you build coping skills and achieve your treatment goals, I do not provide ongoing individual psychotherapy. If more intensive or regular therapy would benefit you, I'm happy to coordinate care with your therapist or help connect you with one.
My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting progress.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust and transparency. My experience working in healthcare and in larger systems has only strengthened this belief. I look forward to joining you in your journey and supporting your growth.
