Hi I'm Anuhea! Pronounced Aw-new-hey-uh. I was born and raised in Hawaii and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from Pacific University Oregon. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah and Hawaii. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-based approaches to engage with clients.
I have helped individuals sort through hectic times. If you need someone to talk to with and empathetic ear, then feel free to reach out. I am accepting new clients evening hours after 8:30pm cst for clients in Texas, New Jersey, Utah, and Iowa. I have an additional focus on Men's Issues related to Infidelity, sexual dysfunction, and sex/porn addiction. I provide a safe space to work through these issues.
I find value in a person-centered, insight-oriented approach. I also take a somewhat eclectic approach in which modalities I use so to best adapt to your needs and preferences. I primarily work with adults of all identities. I work to create an inclusive and justice oriented practice.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time outdoors, riding my horses, and being with my family. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to what matters most in life. I value balance, authenticity, and meaningful relationships, and I bring those same values into my work with clients. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and working toward their goals.
I dedicate my life work to helping others find ease in their life along with meaning and purpose and whatever is most important to them and their loved ones. When we lost my son-in-law to addiction and suicide, this career was jump-started!
My education and licensing background includes:
Master of Arts - Integrated Recovery for Co-Occuring Disorders - Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School
CMHC - Clinical Mental Health Counselor
LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor
LAADC/ICAADC - Internationally Certified / Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Hi, I’m Taylor Garff, a licensed therapist and the founder of Inner Heart Therapy. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, and identity, especially folks in the LGBTQ+ community or anyone feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands.
I’m someone who believes therapy should feel like a soft place to land, not another thing you have to “get right.” My clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, humor, and ability to hold space for both the hard stuff and the hope. I’ll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and no pressure to be anything other than fully human.
In our work together, we might explore your anxious thoughts, practice ways to feel safer and more grounded in your body, or untangle patterns that keep you stuck. I use a mix of tools—like cognitive-behavioral therapy, nervous system regulation, and the Safe and Sound Protocol, to support you in finding more ease, clarity, and connection in your life.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to explain or defend your experiences, I want you to know you won’t have to do that here. This is a space where all of you is welcome.
I am at my best when I am a guide for others. I start by listening and developing understanding of who you are, what you value, and where you struggle. I will help you to find your way back to yourself and develop the trust you need in yourself to live your best life. I use an approach that is very collaborative offering tools and resources, but assisting you to choose your own direction.
We all struggle at times, especially in the way we live these days. I can help you understand how and why you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and develop strategies to move through this to a happier, more grounded, and more confident version of yourself.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Mental Health Therapist in Bountiful, UT
Searching for therapists in Bountiful starts with knowing what kind of support you want and which therapist’s background fits your needs. People look for therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and stress. As you compare Bountiful therapists, look for listed specialties that match your goals. A therapist’s bio can also show whether they use approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or acceptance and commitment therapy.
Bountiful is a smaller city, so local office options may be more limited than in Salt Lake City or other larger parts of Utah. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Utah. Consider practical details like appointment availability, whether the therapist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading profiles before booking can help you understand each therapist’s communication style, session structure, and experience with concerns like couples counseling in Utah, relationship counseling in Utah, or marriage counseling in Davis County.
Therapy in Bountiful can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and see your estimated cost before you book. Headway makes it easier to compare therapists, review detailed bios, and choose between virtual and in-person care while confirming coverage for your specific location and plan. You can browse therapists in Bountiful, check fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
