Originally from California, I now happily call Austin, Texas home. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of the Incarnate Word, my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a concentration in Neurofeedback Therapy.
Throughout my career, I have worked with clients ranging from 4 to 90 years old in nonprofit organizations, private practice, and correctional facilities. These diverse experiences have strengthened my ability to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs.
I believe that therapy is built on a foundation of trust, authenticity, and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, supported, and empowered. I value the relationships I build with my clients and consider it a privilege to walk alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Sometimes, anxiety and emotional pain can be difficult to put into words. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, stuck in certain patterns, or unsure of how to move forward—even when you know something needs to change. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, feel understood, and explore what’s beneath the surface without fear of judgment.

I believe that feeling truly heard and understood is an important part of the healing process.
My goal is to meet you where you are while gently challenging you to consider new perspectives, recognize patterns, and create meaningful change. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you’re looking for support in English or Spanish, I’m here to walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and growth.

Taking the first step to therapy can be hard and such a relief once that first step is taken. I am here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space of compassion and empathy. Through a holistic lens we will work together to navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. With over 20 years in education, I now find myself working with clients from diverse backgrounds and all ages. My approach will be tailored to meet your unique needs. We will discuss your needs and find a treatment that best fits your needs and goals. I offer help navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, grief and life transitions. Together we will conquer the root of life's deeper issues or places you may feel stuck. You already have the strength and resilience to write your new story - it is my job to create a safe, authentic and sometimes humorous space where you can begin to rewrite it.
- My approach to therapy is interactive and collaborative, focused on your self discovery and growth. I see our work as a partnership where your voice, values, and goals matter. Together, we will explore what is bringing you to therapy and clarify the changes you hope to see in your life, relationships, and overall sense of well being.
- I prefer to join in with my clients rather than sit back and simply observe. We will actively work together to identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools that enhance your quality of life. I will offer gentle guidance, ask thoughtful questions, and invite your feedback so our sessions feel useful and relevant to you.
- I believe the therapy relationship is designed to support the change you are seeking. Our work will help you move toward those desired shifts at a pace that feels right, while honoring what is most important to you. If you are ready to explore your next steps in a collaborative, supportive space, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I’m a licensed therapist with more than 12 years of experience working with adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and outpatient therapy. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, whether they’re experiencing anxiety, depression, a major life transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of trying to hold everything together.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without worrying about being judged. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together to better understand what’s getting in the way and identify meaningful steps forward. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, and the emotional weight that can come from being the dependable one for everyone else or holding yourself to incredibly high standards.
Hey there! I'm Amanda, and I'm so glad you're here. If anxiety has been stealing your peace, your mind won't stop racing, or you're feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (M.Ed., LPC), I help teens and adults learn practical tools to manage anxiety, quiet unhelpful thoughts, and build a life that feels calmer and more fulfilling. Outside of the therapy office, I'm a wife, mom, follower of Jesus, avid traveler, and an enthusiastic (but still learning!) home chef. I believe the best therapy happens when you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourself.
After earning my Master's in Counseling from the University of Houston, I gained experience working in both schools and private practice, supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. I especially enjoy helping people recognize the thought patterns that keep them feeling stuck and replace them with healthier, more empowering ways of thinking. For clients who desire it, I'm also honored to integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into our work together.
