I’ve been where you are. As someone in long-term recovery, I understand the challenges firsthand and bring both empathy and 11 years of professional counseling experience to support you in finding your own path and developing your strengths. I work with adolescents, people struggling with substance use, and those facing anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma.
I specialize in working with individuals in recovery and LGBTQ+ clients, helping you build resilience, explore your goals, and discover practical strategies that fit your life.
My approach is collaborative and empowering—you set the pace, and I walk alongside you with understanding, guidance, and support as you create meaningful change and uncover the strengths you already have within.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in direct practice and leadership. Much of my work has focused on supporting children and families through trauma and daunting times. I help clients recognize their strengths and move forward with crisis intervention, practical tools, education, helpful resources, and compassionate care. I believe healing can begin with feeling understood, supported, and less alone.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, burnout, or feeling like you’re carrying more than your share this space is for you. I help clients get to the root of their struggles and spot the patterns that keep them stuck. In our work together, you’ll learn practical ways to understand your feelings and build lasting coping skills. All are welcome here it’s a safe, judgment-free space to explore, heal, and grow.
As a therapist, I specialize in trauma recovery and the treatment of phobias, using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 25. Together, we’ll work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and find practical tools to help you or your child move forward.
In addition to EMDR, I’m trained in multiple trauma-informed approaches, including Sandtray Therapy and Play Therapy. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all method to healing, so I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and preferences.
I also offer parent support through dedicated "Parent Sessions," where I provide coaching, education, and guidance to help families support their child’s growth and healing at home. I view therapy as a family-centered process — not just individual work — and I'm passionate about empowering caregivers along the way.
I provide both in-person and virtual sessions through Bending Willows Wellness PLLC in the San Antonio area. I am licensed in Texas and offer virtual therapy to clients across the state. Virtual sessions are available for ages 8 and up, while children ages 5–7 are seen in person.
