I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with

over 10 years of experience helping

people work through life challenges and

the negative thought processes that keep

them stuck. A lot of my work is about

helping clients become emotionally

resilient, using mindfulness and other

practical tools from the theories that fit

each person best. If you're carrying

anxiety, unresolved trauma,

or strain in your closest relationships, you

don't have to sort it out on your own. I

work with teenagers, adults and seniors, including a

lot of men who didn't expect therapy to

be for them.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Master's Degree in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I spent the beginning of my career in mental health working at an MHMR, as well as working with those struggling with addiction and eating disorders.

What I most want to impress upon you all is that I myself, have over 210 hours on the couch. I have been engaged in my own inner work since 2013. I continue and plan to always dig deeper within to extract every inch of meaning that is possible to obtain on this journey of life to leave this world a little better than I found it.

I’m an experienced mental health professional and leader with a strong background in therapy, behavioral health, and military family support. With over a decade of post-graduate experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, families, and service members navigate life’s challenges with compassion and professionalism. I combine clinical expertise with a warm, approachable style that fosters trust and collaboration.

My individual work helps you build on your strengths while you gain a healthier perspective on what you may currently perceive as weaknesses. I want to help you understand and appreciate the unique combination of gifts you have to draw on. My goal is to help you find more meaningful and fulfilling ways to negotiate your life's path. I work with non-traditional individuals using traditional insight-oriented methods. Many of my clients are individuals in non-traditional jobs and/or relationships who want to look deeply into their own experiences.

As your therapist, my goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment to help you heal. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, stress, trauma, personality disorders and other mental health issues. I currently provide services to clients 18 years and older. I have experience in working with individuals, couples and families. I serve the LBGTQ+ community, young adults, college students, and older adults.
