Often these patterns started as adaptations, ways of coping or relating that once helped us navigate our family or environment and made sense at the time. My role is to help you identify those patterns, understand why they exist, and create lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.

I received my Bachelor of Arts at Goshen College and my Master of Social Work at Andrews University. I am a LCSW in Indiana, LISW in Ohio, and a LSCSW in Kansas.

I have experience in care management and facilitation, providing counseling to juveniles on probation, delivering therapy to those who have been court ordered, doing home-based clinical services, implementing and administering Family Centered Treatment© to families, hospice social work, community mental health, certified clinical behavioral health clinics, conducting counseling to geriatric and SPMI populations, as well as telehealth.

I think it takes guts to be in psychotherapy. Life is hard and beautiful, & it is always possible to feel better and live a fuller life, I work collaboratively with clients to cope with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, divorce and ADHD. I received my MSW in social work from Boston College and trained on child and family teams in the Boston area.
