I built my practice around a conviction I've held since I started in this field: you are capable of more than the patterns that have been holding you back. My job is to help you see that clearly and give you the tools to act on it.

As a Black male therapist with a supervisor-level license (LPCC-S) and a certification in Trauma-Focused CBT, I bring both clinical depth and lived perspective to my work — particularly for men, for clients navigating trauma and its ripple effects, and for couples trying to understand each other across that pain.

I'm licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania, trained at Youngstown State University, and serve clients via telehealth across both states with flexible morning, evening, and weekend availability.

I've been in practice for 25 years. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I specialize in helping individuals with a variety of issues, including depression and anxeity.

Hi, my name is Dr. Deirdre Adduci and I believe that when two people work together, we can achieve great things and that together we can become a team that is able to assess and achieve your goals. Sometimes life can be difficult and it can be challenging, but I do believe that teamwork helps to improve our outlook and also to strategize ways to move forward. At times, people will tell me that they feel stuck, but often times this is merely because working alone we may not be able to see all of our options and possible solutions. I do believe that there are solutions that we haven’t even yet. We can do that together. I received my undergraduate education at The Ohio State University, where I studied criminology, my masters degree and counseling from Youngstown State University and my PhD from The University of Akron. I have my independent license in Counseling(LPCC-S),Marriage and Family Counseling (LIMFT), my independent license, my independent license in Chemical Dependency Counseling (LICDC-S) and a license and social work (LSW). I always tell my clients that I could not do what I do if I did not so passionately believe that counseling truly works. I specialize in helping clients navigating trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, grief, & much more. I earned my MSW from New York University in 2011 and have worked as a forensic social worker in NYC at The Legal Aid Society & have also worked with Gay Men's Health Crisis, Services for the Underserved, Footsteps & Office of the Appellate Defender. I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and have been in private practice since 2018.
