Opening up to another person and turning inward to meet ourselves can stir fear and uncertainty, but it becomes gentler in a space free of judgment and shame. My goal is to create that space, where you can explore at your own pace and begin to reconnect with the parts of yourself that need care and understanding.

With 12+ years of experience supporting those impacted by trauma and other challenges , I use a body-centered, relational approach. I help clients slow down, tune into their bodies, and notice how the past shapes their present. Through curiosity, mindfulness, and compassion, I guide healing and deeper connection with self and others.

Feeling comfortable in our shoes is essential to a creative and self-fulfilling journey and

life. The struggle to reach out for support can be an obstacle that leads to isolation,

loneliness, anxiety, and depression and is often the first and most challenging step to

I have worked as a mental health practitioner for over 40 years and have encountered

many of the challenges that people face in their daily lives. Along the way, I have

discovered my own creative needs and now walk as a transgender therapist willing to

join you as a partner on a path to self-discovery. Giving voice to our hopes, dreams,

Carly is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner committed to providing evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care. She started her career volunteering at a psychiatric hospital while studying psychology in undergrad. She then worked in short term residential care settings and moved to the inpatient psychiatric setting upon gaining her nurse license. She enjoys connecting with patients and meeting them wherever they are on their healing journey. She attended Ohio University and The Ohio State University.

With 20 years of experience, I have moved past clinical jargon to focus on what actually works: true empathy and genuine human connection. My practice is built on real-world experience, and I am dedicated to helping people navigate life with clarity and strength.

I specialize in working with adults dealing with trauma, relationship dynamics, substance use, anxiety, and depression. I also focus on women’s issues, professional burnout, navigating major life transitions, and the art of setting healthy boundaries. I provide a professional, evidence-based approach that remains focused on you as a person.

Hi, my name is Dr. Deirdre Adduci and I believe that when two people work together, we can achieve great things and that together we can become a team that is able to assess and achieve your goals. Sometimes life can be difficult and it can be challenging, but I do believe that teamwork helps to improve our outlook and also to strategize ways to move forward. At times, people will tell me that they feel stuck, but often times this is merely because working alone we may not be able to see all of our options and possible solutions. I do believe that there are solutions that we haven’t even yet. We can do that together. I received my undergraduate education at The Ohio State University, where I studied criminology, my masters degree and counseling from Youngstown State University and my PhD from The University of Akron. I have my independent license in Counseling(LPCC-S),Marriage and Family Counseling (LIMFT), my independent license, my independent license in Chemical Dependency Counseling (LICDC-S) and a license and social work (LSW). I always tell my clients that I could not do what I do if I did not so passionately believe that counseling truly works.
