I have worked as a mental health practitioner for over 40 years and have encountered

many of the challenges that people face in their daily lives. Along the way, I have

discovered my own creative needs and now walk as a transgender therapist willing to

My name is Steven Reedy. As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring ideals from both the medical and nursing models of care in a holistic approach. In doing so, this allows me to care for you with compassion, as a whole person, and with the latest evidence-based practices. My journey to mental healthcare My background as a nurse was eight years of acute care. I was an Emergency Department and ICU nurse for almost a decade before I switched my focus to Mental Health. I observed firsthand the deficit in mental health care and prevention and wanted to devote my career to recognition, advocating prevention, and resources for patients with mental health needs.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I bring a compassionate and understanding approach to mental health care. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings, including pediatrics, family medicine, cardiology, correctional health, emergency medicine, and education.

I believe that meaningful care starts with truly meeting patients where they are. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to be your authentic self. Together, we work toward practical, personalized solutions that support your mental and emotional well-being.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, visiting amusement parks, going on cruises, or spending quiet time at home with my husband and our two dogs.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to sessions. Vicki is licensed with the West Virginia Social Work Board as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, (LICSW) and in Ohio as Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). I have over 15 years in the helping field. I specialize in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has extensive experience in addressing domestic violence, anxiety, OCD, life stressors, ADHD, grief, and trauma. I see the whole person not the symptoms.

I am a licensed Independent Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with adults, who experience anxiety, depression and Trauma. As well as working various populations; Veterans, adults with disabilities, substance use and recovery, and Women's Issues. I have experience and a strong passion for working in the field of gerontology. I have a strong focus on holistic healing, nature and how we can utilize all treatment modalities for a more balanced and healthier version of self.
