My 18 years of experience in this field enables me to address a wide range of patient needs. I am committed to providing flexible, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population. From the time of the first appointment (and consistently thereafter), the patient and I will review their reasons for seeking care, discuss current challenges and stressors, and identify treatment goals. This information guides my formulation of an individualized treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs and objectives.

Hi, I’m Salvatore, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Finding the right psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been trying to hold everything together on your own. I work with adolescents and adults who may be feeling anxious, depressed, unfocused, emotionally drained, or stuck in major life stressors. I offer a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make medication and treatment decisions together at a pace that feels right for you.
I’ve been a psychologist for more than 15 years and have worked in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, residential programs, outpatient clinics, and schools. I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and major life transitions. I’ve also worked with entrepreneurs and professionals in technology and finance who may look highly successful on the outside but are dealing with stress, burnout, or feeling stuck underneath it.
I tend to be warm and thoughtful, but I’m also pretty direct. I don’t think therapy should feel like you’re talking while someone just nods at you. I want to understand how you got where you are, what keeps repeating, and what may need to change. I also bring some humor into the room when it feels right. Therapy can deal with serious things without every minute of it having to feel heavy.

Her practice helps individuals enhance physical and emotional well-being through individualized care.
In my work, I am passionate about creating a safe and collaborative environment that can serve as a catalyst for self-understanding and change. I am warm and empathetic. I strive to help clients improve coping skills, interpersonal relationships, heal past trauma, and build self esteem and understanding. I have years of experience working with ages ranging from young children to adults on both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.

I know that it was not easy to get to the point you are at today but you are not alone! My goal is to support you in living the life that makes you feel happy and satisfied.
I specialize in working with young adults (20's & 30's) who are navigating the unique challenges of early adulthood. I also have a background in addiction counseling including gambling and significant other support.

I am an experienced clinician with two Masters in clinical social work working at hospitals and mental health clinics. Supervisor of social work students.
