Aloha! It is my firm belief for everyone to find the right therapist that fits them in order to be comfortable and empowered to be their best version of self. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am committed to helping my clients navigate through relational issues, communication approaches, understanding and coping with how ADHD impact their everyday life, and deal with stress or anxiety from significant life changes or events.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to make a change even if they aren’t sure how. I work with many clients who struggle with all types of trauma, mood disorders, neurodivergence and often a combination of these traits. I often work with my clients to help them set attainable goals and break down complex situations piece by piece. I also strive to make a safe space for LGBTQ+ and encourage expressions of all gender identities and sexualities. Vulnerability is key to healing and I welcome anyone who is ready to begin and honest conversation about their goals.
I actively participate in helping you get to where you want to go, and I offer insight when clients have a desire and readiness to hear it. I have worked in the mental health field for over ten years as well, so I have heard it all! My office is a no judgement zone first and foremost. I am a sex therapist and look forward to helping you overcome sexual shame and trauma so that you can have all the intimacy and closeness you desire.
Hi, I'm Mariam :) I’m a neurodiverse therapist who is Amazigh (Indigenous Moroccan)‐American and grew up overseas. I work with folks of all backgrounds, and have extensive experience working with and within LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and neurodiverse communities.
I specialize in helping adults build a more grounded and intentional life where they feel genuinely empowered. If you have been holding it together but feel stuck in overthinking, anxiety, or old patterns that impact your well‐being, it can be really tough.
Together, we will slow down, understand what is driving your stress, anxiety, and self-doubt, building practical tools you can use in daily life. My style is warm, direct, and grounded. I will be present and with you, ask thoughtful questions, and give feedback that is honest and clear.

I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My approach is grounded in authenticity, both in how I show up and in how I support others in reconnecting with their own genuine selves. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding, and I am committed to walking alongside each person as they explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Important note: I don't schedule through Headway contact me for availability.
I am becoming very specialized in relational issues, whether meeting with couples or individuals. As a society, so many are struggling in relationships, connections, and sexuality. I look at these issues largely from a developmental perspective meaning increased self- knowledge can make a huge difference in getting unstuck from negative patterns.
