am a professional clinical counselor, licensed in Ohio, with over 29 years of experience working with adults, children, and families. I have worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, gender issues, addictions, family systems, marital/relationship or career challenges, trauma, and ADHD. My approach combines CBT, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Gottman Therapy, DBT, and trauma-focused CBT interventions.

I actively participate in helping you get to where you want to go, and I offer insight when clients have a desire and readiness to hear it. I have worked in the mental health field for over ten years as well, so I have heard it all! My office is a no judgement zone first and foremost. I am a sex therapist and look forward to helping you overcome sexual shame and trauma so that you can have all the intimacy and closeness you desire.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Nevada. I graduated with my Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling in 2009 and hold three degrees in the field of counseling/psychology. I am within several classes of achieving a second Master's degree in the field of substance abuse treatment. I have additional formal and practical training in the areas of trauma informed care, impulse control/anger management, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral modification strategies. I have worked with a wide variety of populations including co-occurring disorders (substance and mental health), at risk youth, and various other adult high risk/high need populations in both intensive inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked at length with the majority of DSM V diagnosed disorders.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York with over fifteen years of experience working as a therapist and a coach. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, OCD, parenting problems, career challenges, and life transitions.

I've worked with adolescents, couples, and families and I value creating a space where clients feel safe, understood and supported. I'm direct, yet compassionate, and I am not afraid to help you explore the "elephant in the room" so we can get to the root of what's keeping you stuck.
