Welcome!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have been practicing 5 years. I’m a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who values authenticity and connection. I treat client's age 5 and up with a variety of mental health disorders.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, parenting challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to help you discover your strengths and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, college students, student athletes, and adults. I have advanced training as a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH C) clinician through Postpartum Support International and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I also have specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT).
I enjoy helping children build confidence, emotional regulation skills, and resilience. I also have a passion for supporting individuals during pregnancy and postpartum, helping new and expecting parents navigate the emotional challenges that can accompany this season of life. For young adults and student athletes, I provide support for managing stress, performance pressure, relationships, identity, and life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Indiana, Florida, and Missouri. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). My professional experience includes working in schools, hospice care, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice, allowing me to support clients across a wide range of life experiences.
No matter what brings you to therapy, I strive to create a welcoming space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri with over three years of experience helping individuals navigate and process traumatic events. I am passionate about supporting clients in growing and excelling amid life's challenges. I want everyone to grow and become a healthier, more balanced version of themselves.
I specialize in supporting women navigating complex experiences that often go misunderstood. This includes women who have experienced harm within spiritual or religious communities—whether that's spiritual abuse, religious trauma, or the complicated grief of leaving a faith tradition. I also work with women managing anxiety, depression, and interpersonal trauma.
If you've felt silenced, questioned your own reality, or struggled to trust yourself after difficult experiences, you're not alone. My practice is a place where your story matters, your feelings are valid, and healing is possible.
Many of the people I work with are successful, dependable, and high functioning on the outside- but privately they're carrying anxiety, unresolved trauma, burnout, ADHD or patterns that leave them feeling stuck despite their best efforts. I help adults move beyond coping and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
I believe lasting healing begins with understanding, not judgement. My goal is to help you make sense of the experiences that shaped you, recognize the patterns that no longer serve you, and develop new ways of responding with greater confidence, clarity and self-compassion.
I am an experienced therapist, licensed in Maryland, Ohio, Missouri, and Kansas. I will be your partner and tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I have a master’s degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. I have been described as supportive, direct, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them.
