Hello! My name is Grace Moore and I am an LPC in the State of Missouri. Previously, I have worked in private practice, as well as a nonprofit that specialized in care for clients who have experienced a level of trauma. I specialize in identity and trauma as well as anxiety and depression. I enjoy empowering my clients to get in touch with who they are and who they want to be. My hope for my clients is that I can help them identify their goals and take action in making positive change in their lives.
My ideal client is someone ready to make a change that propels them to their next chapter in life. I believe that my clients most value my ability to remain optimistic while keeping a firm grasp on reality. We all want to reach the highest levels of self actualization, but if your anxiety, depression, or ADHD are making it hard to complete daily living tasks that may feel out of reach. My diverse experience helps me accurately empathize with a variety of life issues. I have previously worked as a primary grade teacher, residential eating disorder treatment, and assisting a psychiatrist specializing in ADHD treatment for adults.
I am curious and validating, providing a nurturing environment to talk openly and honestly about your struggles, strengths, weaknesses, needs, likes, and dislikes. I love helping people explore their unique and particular powers as well as how these powers impact their world and their relationships. As a passionate supporter of those who have been through unjust or otherwise traumatic experiences--including those experiencing discrimination based upon race or gender identity or sexual orientation--I am particularly interested in helping people gain skills for dealing with, and making sense of, the remnants of their pasts.
Having completed Bessel Van der Kolk's Trauma Research Foundation's Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies in early 2025, I have a strong foundational understanding of the most cutting edge approaches to treating trauma. I am also comfortable using a combination of approaches, including Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I received an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, a psychodynamically focused program, after which I completed Bryn Mawr's certificate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have also completed 1 year of Gestalt Therapy training and the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Immersion Program.
As an LCSW, my training emphasized the role of social environment--from the family to society at large--in how we construct our narratives, enabling me to help you make sense of what in your life is yours to own and what is a product of your environment.
Hi, I’m really glad you’re here. If life feels heavy, overwhelming, or like you’ve been carrying too much on your own, you’re not alone. I work with teens (12+) and adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, low mood, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck and unsure of what’s next. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. In our work together, you’ll have a calm, supportive space where you can finally exhale, feel heard without judgment, and start making sense of what you’re going through. We’ll work together at your pace to help you feel more grounded, understood, and confident in your life.

I have always been drawn to helping others and consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. My therapeutic approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I am deeply committed to helping them grow, heal, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I am a certified ADHD service provider who particularly enjoys working with 2SLGBTQIA+, religious trauma, identity issues, and those who feel at their wits end!
Your story has made you who you are. I offer a judgement free space for you to share that story.
I am a dedicated counselor with a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and my Master's in Guidance and Counseling from Lincoln University. My career began working with survivors of domestic and sexual assault and, over the years, I have gained diverse experience working in private practice, school-based therapy, community behavioral health, and the prison system. My approach is sex positive, affirming and tailored to your unique needs. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to explore. I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest and spending time with my friends, family and dog.
I want to join you in building a world full of connected, alive, brave people. With over 10 years experience as a therapist, and a constant curiosity about the world, I can support you in a way that honors your worldview, provides grounded support, and clears a path for unshakable healing. I will diligently advocate for open connection with the vital parts of yourself. I am here to help you feel fully connected.
I have 26 years of experience dealing with individuals, couples, families in therapy. We will work together to develop plans that are unique and right for you.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe therapy should meet you where you are while also helping you move toward where you want to be. I often compare therapy to going to the gym: it is dedicated time to strengthen the way you understand and respond to your thoughts, emotions, relationships and behaviors.
My approach is warm, direct and collaborative. You can expect empathy, compassion and acceptance, along with thoughtful questions and practical strategies that help you make meaningful changes. Your needs, experiences and goals will guide our work together.
I support adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges and major life transitions. I also have experience working with concerns related to sexual orientation, identity, suicide prevention, family dynamics and professional stress.
You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start with what is happening right now and work together from there.
