Hi! I am Valerie L. Rennon MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. I am a dual board certified nurse practitioner in both psychiatric mental health and women's health across the lifespan. I have been in practice for over a year now and my most recent experience has been in an underserved and underinsured area of downtown Detroit, MI.

I have also been an adjunct clinical instructor for RN students over the past 3 years. I am a graduate from Michigan State University, University of Colorado Anschutz, University of Texas Arlington and Colorado Mountain College. Having moved about the country for a bit, my husband of 18 years and I have established our home in MI with our two children, dog Curley and our bearded dragon Sami.

She has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and she has a Master’s in Higher Education: She is trained in various trauma interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. She provides culturally responsive care to diverse populations.

I’m Chardae (She/Her), a licensed clinical social worker and relational therapist. I received my Bachelor’s (BA)in Criminal Justice (with a minor in Psychology) and Master’s degree in Counseling (MA) from Central Michigan University. After graduation, I started working with Community Mental Health, where I expanded my trainings and certifications. Since working with CMH I have been able to work with a large population of individuals with different challenges such as substance use, bereavement, trauma, domestic violence, family matters, and life goals. I am certified in DBT and DBT PE. I specialize in Behavioral Health, Personality Disorders, and Trauma Therapy. I have experience working with all ages from school age to geriatric clients.
