Welcome! I'm Rebecca Greer. I am a doctoral prepared and board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) (ANCC) and family nurse practitioner (FNP) (AANP). I received my family nurse practitioner master's degree in nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) in 2015, my doctor of nursing practice from UDM in 2020, and my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner post master's certificate/degree from the University of Michigan in 2021. My experience includes being a registered nurse for 21 years and a nurse practitioner for a total of 10 of those 20 years. I have practiced primarily in child and adolescent psychiatry since January 2019 but also have experience treating adults.

I was born and raised in Michigan. I love the four seasons and all of the college and professional sport teams. I have over 20 years of behavioral health experience and both mental health and substance abuse. I also hold a certificate from Western Michigan University for treating drug and alcohol addictions.

I’m a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN, PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of nursing experience and a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). I provide warm, supportive telehealth care for individuals of all ages, offering thoughtful, personalized treatment to meet your unique mental health needs.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in TN and MI and I offer a wide range of services including therapy and treatment for Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety disorders, PTSD and ADHD. I graduated from University of Pennsylvania and am a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and have 26 years of experience. I have worked in Inpatient and outpatient services having served patients in CMHC, and I am currently in Outpatient Private Practice.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in behavioral health, including more than a decade as a psychiatric registered nurse. I earned my post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Education from the University of Detroit Mercy.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in outpatient, residential, correctional, and community-based settings. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

I believe mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and individualized. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understand your treatment options, and feel empowered to take an active role in your mental health and overall well-being.
