I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a University of Michigan graduate, and my
area of expertise is co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Over the course of
my career, I have worked with individuals navigating addiction, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and
the complex challenges that arise when these conditions intersect. I believe that healing
happens in a space where you feel genuinely safe and understood, and I am committed to
providing exactly that. I would love to work alongside you as you move toward the life you
deserve.
Do you often find yourself feeling empty – as if you float through your days going through the motions, rather than living an abundant and thriving life? Life can be difficult, and no matter how strong one may be mentally, there is only so much stress one can shoulder alone before it becomes too much. I believe in working together collaboratively in order to unlock one’s innate ability to self-heal. Through support and guided introspection, the answers to our troubles become self-evident.
Before earning my Masters in Counseling, I earned a PhD in social and personality psychology. This background deeply informs how I show up as a therapist. I help clients address unresolved trauma and grief, anxiety and OCD, address relationship issues, as well as "problems of everyday living." My style is active, engaged, and practical.

Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with nearly 30 years of experience in the Clinical Social Work field. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Social Work. I have worked in many different aspects of the field, including as a School Social Worker. I began my career in the areas of child and family services, foster care, adoption, intensive family services, vocation, juvenile justice, schools, elder care, and individual, group and family therapy. In addition to being a licensed Clinical and Macro therapist, I am also a Certified Life Coach specializing in relationships. I am also a mother of two, remarried and have had a plethora of professional, personal and familial experiences from which I have gained valuable perspective. So, I can relate to most of life's challenges regarding interpersonal relationships.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right fit matters. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, feeling stuck, relationship challenges, life transitions, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that no longer feel helpful, therapy can be a place to slow down and better understand what’s going on.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself. Clients often describe me as compassionate, down to earth, and easy to talk to. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s keeping you stuck, build practical tools, and create meaningful changes that feel realistic and aligned with your goals.
