I'm Sorlyz, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Therapist with over eight years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults. My background includes extensive work with individuals who have experienced severe trauma, as well as first-generation and Spanish-speaking clients navigating cultural identity, family expectations, and life's many demands. This experience allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and tailor therapy to each person's unique needs.

My name is Toya Randi Fisher, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW, LCSW-C) with over 21 years of experience serving vulnerable populations across Washington, D.C. and Maryland. I hold a Master of Social Work from Catholic University of America and a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College. I’ve worked extensively with adolescents, adults, families, and older adults, supporting clients facing complex life challenges, including family dynamics, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also bring a strong background in leadership, program development, and crisis response, which allows me to approach therapy from both a clinical and systems-level perspective.

With more than 25 years of clinical counseling experience, I bring a compassionate, empowering approach to therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, wife, mother, grandmother, and Elder in my church, my perspective is shaped by a deep respect for the many seasons and challenges of life. I believe every person has strength, dignity, and the capacity to heal. My guiding phrase, “He Restoreth My Soul,” reflects my belief that healing involves the whole person—mind, will, and emotions—and can help restore identity, purpose, and resilience.

I am an aspiring musician who loves movies, music, and love fantasy books. I became a counselor to help myself and others better understand feeelings and to be more present and get more out of life. I believe therapy is most effective when it is connective and personal.
