I’m Dr. Deborah E. Jones, PhD, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adults find balance, resilience, and renewed purpose. Hello! I’m Eunice Virgen, a licensed clinical social worker based in Los Angeles, CA. For the last nine years, I’ve worked in public mental health programs with individuals who are living with chronic mental illnesses. For the last three years, I have been in private practice where I specialize helping women of color process life stressors, mental health problems, and generational traumas, so they can be more intentional in creating the life they desire.
I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Maryland with a background in both medication management and therapy — and I believe the best care happens when we tailor it to you. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, and depression, and I work with patients who want a provider who actually listens before deciding anything. Many of the people I see found me through their community — they wanted someone they could trust, who'd take the time to get to know them. My approach is warm and direct: I'll tell you exactly what I'm thinking and make sure every session reflects where you are right now.
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” With over 10 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, my goal is to help others to find the light. Congratulations on taking the hardest step of the journey with seeking help.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Science in Health Service Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. My education and professional experience in mental health, health care, and nutrition offer a depth and breadth of experience that enables me to view the whole person holistically.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor, offering personalized care and evidence-based therapies to help you overcome challenges and foster resilience. I have been practicing therapy for the past 5 years working with adolescents and adults. As an undergraduate student from Stevenson University and a graduate student from Johns Hopkins Masters of Clinical Mental Health program, I am passionate about working with under served populations.
