After spending a decade working with youth, I realized the best part of my work were the meaningful, life-changing conversations. Thus, I went back to school for a Masters in Counseling from LSU. Now, I spend most of my days helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD to rebuild a better life.

Currently working towards a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana, Minnesota, and Georgia. My specialties include mental health, substance abuse, depression, anxiety grief, divorce, and stress. Hi. I'm a proud LSU Alumni with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Religous Studies along with a Master' Degree in Social Work. I have a passion for empowering others and helping them navigate through life's difficulties so they can live their life to the fullest. My professional experience ranges from addictions, mental health, and geriatric care to my most recent position as a hospice social worker.

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. My work is grounded in trauma-centered therapy, recognizing that many emotional and behavioral challenges are rooted in experiences that deserve compassion, understanding, and skilled support.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families, helping them navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and the impact of trauma. I believe therapy should be a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that’s been practicing in the field of social work for over 25 years.

Educational achievements include obtaining both Bachelor's and Master's of Social Work degrees. I have also acquired a Clinical Social Work Licensure.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and pets. I also enjoy traveling, dancing and engaging in outdoor activities.

Hi! I am Cynthia Cayer Sandoval, MS. I moved to Park City for the Olympics and fell in love! For 35 years I have been fortunate enough to have had experience working in multiple settings in the field of counseling treating children, adolescents, and adults. My services include individual therapy, family therapy, and group counseling for all ages. In my free time you will find me out on my trail bike or if I am I am lucky in the powder!!!
