I am "Dr. Nik" Bailey, LCSW (pronouns: they/she) Jamaican Born- Intuitive Queer/Gender Expansive Trauma- Informed therapist.

I want my clients to know that I value creating a space that feels safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially for people who are used to carrying things on their own or putting others first. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable enough to show up honestly and be themselves without pressure or shame.

A large part of my experience involves working with trauma survivors and individuals navigating anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I approach this work with compassion, patience, and understanding, and I believe healing happens through feeling supported, heard, and empowered.

I am a native of Coastal Georgia. He attended St. Leo University, where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Human Resources. I went on to obtain two Master’s degrees: one in Public Administration, from Columbus State University and the other in Clinical Counseling, from South University.

I'm committed to providing you with the support and guidance you need. I've been a counselor for many years and enjoy a very interactive relationship with my clients.

I am grounded in person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Additionally, I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based model designed to help children and adolescents heal from trauma.

For the majority of my career I have supported children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and learning differences, as well as neurotypical individuals. I have also worked with children and families in Philadelphia’s foster care system, military families, and professionals in the medical field.

I am a dedicated therapist with 18 years of experience helping individuals navigate their healing journeys. My practice specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood disorders, grief, relational concerns, and phase-of-life issues.
