I have over 27 years of experience in nursing and mental health care. I specialize in supporting individuals of all ages who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and burnout.

I have a particular passion for working with caregivers, high-achieving professionals, and women who carry the emotional weight of others. My care blends evidence-based psychiatric treatment with holistic approaches to help clients achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia and Alabama and have been working as a therapist for 16 years. Currently, I am only seeing female clients in order to align with my clinical focus. As a Christian therapist, I specialize in faith-integrated counseling for women who wish to bring their spirituality into sessions. I offer therapy that integrates biblical principles with evidence-based practices, helping clients align their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. While this is my area of specialty, I work with individuals from all walks of life and honor each client’s unique beliefs and values.

My experience is broad in that I have worked with clients of all ages with a variety of issues and diagnoses, especially with those facing trauma, recovering from addictions, coping with anxiety and depression, and moving through life changes such as grief and relationship/family changes. My name is Kyle, I go by my middle name. I am licensed in Georgia with 12 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with, but not limited to, stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, lgbtq+ related issues, & coping with grief and loss.

I have certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parenting, Trauma Focused Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, Domestic Violence Assessment and Treatment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, addictions, and play therapy. I have worked with many behavioral problems in children and adolescents, as well as adults.

Experiences and educational background include: Bachelors degree in Zoology and Physiology, Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology/Zoology, Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. National certification in Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience as a clinical supervisor and director of a mental health and substance abuse clinic.

I hold a master’s degree in nursing with specialized training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management, as well as psychotherapy.

My practice focuses on treating a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, addiction recovery and perinatal mental health concerns. I integrate a client-centered approach that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive counseling, and lifestyle interventions alongside medication when appropriate.
