Additionally, I have significant experiences working with people across the life span and in various settings. I bring this rich experience to my work with clients.

I was born and raised in one of Nigeria’s vibrant and bustling cities, where I learned the values of community, resilience, and compassion from an early age. Inspired by a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives, I pursued my education in health care. This journey has been a blessing and a privilege, allowing me to work in health care and provide care for the people I love and serve.

My family and I have built a home filled with love and laughter. They bring joy and inspiration to my life every day. I'm excited to support my clients in bringing that same love and joy and laughter back into their own lives.

I’m a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported without judgment.

With a background in both psychiatric and family medicine, I take a whole-person approach—considering both your mental and physical health when developing your treatment plan. My goal is to help you feel like yourself again.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, evidence-based care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I specialize in treating adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. My goal is to provide personalized, collaborative care in a supportive environment that helps patients achieve lasting mental wellness.

My mother taught me and my brothers from a very young age not to ever hate anyone. Her words have been invaluable to me. My father instilled in us boys a mantra that too has served me well. He said to us innumerable times "Listen." Neither of my parents were strict disciplinarians, and they never used corporal punishment. But, from boyhood, through adolescence and into young adulthood, my brothers and I could count on a well-deserved lecture and extra chores if either of my parents ever caught us breaking one of these rules. My parents' philosophy helped steer me into my life's work, and I employ their beliefs daily in my career as a therapist. I believe people seek counseling so they can be accepted, validated and heard. I committed to myself long ago to never hate and to always listen to my patients/clients/consumers, regardless of their behaviors.Validation, empowerment and dignity are what I strive to create, cultivate and reap in every therapeutic alliance into which I enter.

I work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and major life transitions. I believe therapy can provide both the space to better understand yourself and the support to make changes that improve how you feel and function in everyday life.

My style is warm, collaborative, and supportive while still being practical and goal-oriented. I’ll take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’m Jonicqua Bobb, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to those coping with trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, or substance-related issues.

I have a special passion for working with women, mothers, minority males, and blended families, as well as anyone seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth. My focus is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can process life events, build resilience, and move toward balance and fulfillment.

Originally from the West Coast and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, I enjoy mentoring, reading, staying active, and spending time with my family. I believe therapy is a journey we take together — one built on trust, compassion, and hope.
