Therapy should not feel like you are sitting in a isolated room while the person is observing and providing minimal feedback. I have a Bachelors of Social Work and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I specialize working with children, adolescence, and young to middle age adults that experience depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and dissociation/inattention. Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) who has been practicing in Florida since 2012. I strive to help individuals and couples without judgement, providing feedback and support when needed. I understand the difficulty in reaching out for help, and will do my best to offer the support that is needed. I try to conduct myself with honesty and care, and believe my clients recognize that.
I have been working in the helping professions my entire adult life. I first became licensed over 25 years ago and have had the pleasure of helping many people over the years, both online and in my private practice. While serving on the Faculty at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as the Assistant Director for the Office of Clinical Services and Senior Data Analyst, I learned the importance of setting measurable outcomes and establishing goals for treatment.
I specialize in supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My ideal clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in painful patterns, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by past experiences that continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and daily lives. Together, we create space to better understand those experiences and begin building a path toward healing and growth.
