Welcome, I'm Hannah! I am a licensed therapist based in Florida. I deeply enjoy working with clients of various identities and cultural backgrounds. Together, we can navigate things like identity development, relationships, emotional regulation, and all of the unique parts of yourself. I strive to help you find useful tools that promote empowerment and self-understanding. As your therapist, I welcome you as are and I am eager to support you in your wellness journey. If you are seeking therapy that prioritizes authenticity, curiosity, and new insights, then we may be a great fit.
I believe that therapy is a journey that first begins with the courage to heal. Therapy should be a safe place to heal, discover, grow, and find moments of selah--which means to pause and reflect. The following quote sums up what I believe the healing process looks like: “Life is like an onion; you peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep” (Carl Sandburg).
Jeanna treats people with depression, anxiety, bipolar , substance use disorders , couples counseling , trauma and LBGTQ+ issues. She is passionate about optimal health in her professional and personal life and draws from a rich history of eastern philosophies and western science to meet the needs of her clients.
My professional career began with employment in two different psychiatric hospitals and a substance abuse treatment center, where I provided assessment, treatment, and aftercare services. During these early years, much of my work focused on adolescents and their families, giving me a strong foundation in understanding the unique emotional, developmental, and family dynamics that can affect young people. In the mid-1990s, I transitioned into private practice, where expanded my client caseload to work with a broad spectrum of clients. These years of experience have allowed me to develop a flexible and individualized therapeutic style that combines professional expertise with genuine compassion and respect for each client's experience.
I'm a retired veteran, have been working as a social worker/therapist since 2004, and have been in private practice since 2017. I have extensive and successful experience helping people with trauma/PTSD, relationships, boundaries, emotions, domestic violence, sexual trauma, substance abuse, grief, parenting, and more.
My background is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I earned my Master's from the University of Central Florida. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, and difficulties with self-esteem and emotional regulation. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences.

With over 10 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve supported individuals through some of the most challenging moments in their lives—including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and substance use.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you’re not alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work through what’s going on and begin finding a path forward that feels realistic and manageable.
My background in healthcare settings has given me experience working with both mental health and medical challenges, allowing me to take a more holistic view of what you’re going through.
