I am a Salvadoran-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual, family and group therapy in English and Spanish. I received my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and have had the privilege of empowering clients for over 12 years. I also love to teach and serve as Adjunct Faculty at FIU School of Social Work.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to podcasts and stand-up comedy, dancing Zumba, and reading fiction.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. This means I have specialized training in couples and relationship therapy, but I also have 7 years experience in counseling for anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I am an experienced psychotherapist in private practice for 15 years. I provide couples, family and individual therapy. As a couples therapist, I see couples that have destructive unhealthy and ineffective commuication patterns. Their inability to communicate effectively will lead to further deterioration with unresolved conflicts in their relationship, I also work with individual's who experience Anxiety, and depression. Play is vital for children to express themselves and learn about their surroundings and general environment. In addition to exploration, it is essential for their development. Allowing the space for them to play freely generates the possibility of understanding their world and their motivation. Instead of the traditional format of communication, we often learn more about a child's thoughts, feelings, motivations, and struggles by watching them play.

To be able to give a child power, motivation, and confidence will set the foundation for a successful life. Often times when dealing with a traumatic situation and learning to deal and cope with it effectively, allows a child (or anyone for that matter) to become the best versions of themselves and learn to move forward.
