My approach is practical, direct, and occasionally humorous — I believe real progress happens when you feel are both, supported and challenged, not just listened to.

Over 30 years I've worked with individuals, couples, and families through some of the hardest seasons of life: chronic illness, painful grief, relationship breakdowns, severe ADHD, life hindering eating disorders, destructive anger, and major life transitions.

I singly raised my three children, and came to realize clinical training doesn’t compare to life experience... theory helps it’s just not enough to capture the big picture.

I've also spent significant time working with military families and first responders, rich in life experience. They seem to prefer my steady, no-nonsense mindset at times.

Diana Lankenau has a Master of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and Chamberlain University. She has a Bachelor's in nursing from University of Miami. BA in Psychology from Florida International University. She is Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).

I am Cathy, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 16 years of experience working with adults across a wide range of emotional and behavioral health challenges. I bring a depth of specialized training that most providers do not carry including Biofeedback, Art Therapy, the Unified Protocol for emotional disorders, and evidence-based approaches for bipolar, eating disorders, infertility, and end of life. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and transgender inclusive, and I meet every client exactly where they are.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes you shouldn’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, PTSD and trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, toxic or unhealthy relationships, narcissistic abuse, major life transitions, stress, overwhelm, and the sometimes-messy transition into adulthood. I also specialize in helping clients build healthier boundaries, become more confident and assertive in their relationships, recognize unhealthy patterns, and learn to advocate for their needs without losing themselves in the process.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Keiser University and bring a warm, genuine, down-to-earth presence to my work. My space is neurodivergent-friendly and very much “come as you are”—and when the moment allows, there’s room for lighthearted humor and laughter, too.

I have been an LCSW for over 15 years, and anxiety is where I do my deepest work..the racing thoughts, the physical tension, the constant "what if" that won't quiet down. I also work with clients navigating depression, major life changes, grief and divorce. But if anxiety is running the show in your life, that is exactly where I want to start.
