I bring warmth, humor, and clear guidance to therapy. Cognitive techniques help uncover how thoughts shape emotions and actions, while mindfulness fosters calm and focus. We’ll also explore your values to guide our work. Humor keeps things light, and directness ensures we stay on track. Together, we’ll work toward lasting growth and confidence.I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Wake Forest University.
I have wanted to be a therapist since I was twelve years old after seeing a guru use his expertise to connect with a troubled child who had only known how to push others away. Over twenty five years later, I'm privileged enough to have found my own niche, working with individual adults address the impacts of trauma, anxiety, and depression. They have proven that the capacity to love and embrace life can be rediscovered, even for those who have lived through the unbearable.

Hi, my name is Zach, and I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary’s CACREP accredited program. I am a psychiatrist trained in adult psychiatry, though I do have some experience working in adolescent and geriatric psychiatry as well. I try to integrate western medicine approaches to care with more holistic approaches, which often includes providing psychotherapy, medications, and lifestyle modification. I have specific interest in different psychotherapy modalities, and often incorporate some aspects of psychotherapy in my visits with clients even if this is not the primary focus. In my work, I like to focus on your strengths, goals, and values as the main components of our treatment plan. I try to bring a curious, open-minded, and compassionate energy to my work.
I earned my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Denver and have been in private practice for over ten years. I consider it an honor to be in relationship with my clients and to help them better understand themselves and change their lives. I strive to celebrate and create a safe space for all aspects of your identity.
