I have found my own personal healing to be intimately connected to nature, and it is here that I believe that we can all begin to rediscover our intrinsic humanity and let go of those things that distract us from our higher selves. In my spare time, I work as an outdoor educator and manage my own private practice and guide Outdoor Retreats
I believe it is helpful and important to translate what is discussed in session and in telehealth meetings into lived experience and real change.
My primary focus is working with adolescents, families, and adults, though I have a range of experience working with people of all ages and many different demographics. In particular, I have a strong background in working with at-risk youth, kinship caregivers, and foster/adoptive families. I also have a background of working with young adults transitioning to independent living, as well as adults of all ages.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado, and have been practicing as a therapist since 2022. Prior to this, I worked with youth, adults, and families in a variety of case management roles, including in schools, domestic violence shelters, shelters for those without housing, and families experiencing various systems involvement. This has given me an understanding of the many challenges life can bring, and equipped me with the tools to support you in navigating various barriers and difficulties.
I was born and raised in Montana and have a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Montana State University in 2001. This graduate program had a focus on providing a social justice and integrated practitioner perspective. I have an eclectic style that can be tailored to each unique individual. My primary therapeutic methods include Mindfulness Based, Holistic, Exposure, Narrative, Cognitive and Behavioral, Strengths Based & Solution Focused Therapies. I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment that often helps people feel comfortable. A true passion of mine is structuring therapeutic activities for clients to express, process, increase self-awareness, and de-stress from life’s challenging and developmental experiences.

“Have you been carrying a lot, but haven’t had a place to truly unpack it?” I offer a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, creating a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. Sessions move at your pace, with a focus on understanding the root of what you’re experiencing—not just managing symptoms. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and self-esteem. My work includes supporting adults from all walks of life, including veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, men and women, human trafficking victims, domestic violence victims, high-acuity clients, and those receiving care at different levels of intensity. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build effective coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
If you’re carrying trauma, anxiety, or depression, you’ve found a warm and steady place to start. I’m a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and mindfulness has been a deeply important part of my own life and my work for nearly 30 years. Over the years, I’ve completed intensive meditation training in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the United States, experiences that have profoundly shaped how I understand healing, presence, and the connection between mind and body. I’d be honored to bring all of that to you.
