Hi! I'm Olivia. I've been in therapy practice for six years, and am grateful for the opportunity to get to know you! As a queer and neurodivergent person, my career as a therapist has always moved in tandem with my commitment to social and economic justice. My work has taken me to settings with folks experiencing homelessness in South Los Angeles; with justice-involved adults in treatment court diversion programs in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood; in young adult shelters for art therapy groups; with low-income immigrant parents of young children; and with teens and young adults with significant trauma histories.
Through all my roles I always commit to centering community and individual strengths that help arm my clients with the tools necessary to repel various types of systemic violence and oppression. I believe that therapy is inherently political because being human is political.

For the past 20 years, I've worked across private practices, youth development centers, schools, and mental health clinics. My passion is to work with adults navigating major life transitions. We can explore ways to recognize and acknowledge your anxiety that moves beyond words. Incorporating expressive arts, guided imagery, and embodied exercises to help you strengthen your awareness with your emotions and rewrite old narratives.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. My goal is to create safety, trust, and openness on your path to healing. I have been practicing for over 10 years and firmly believe that wellness is your investment in yourself.

I'm Caterina Amici, a newly Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I hold a Master of Social Work in Community Mental Health from California State University, Fullerton. Over the past four years I have worked directly with adults and youth in trauma and crisis settings, most recently as a therapist at the Huntington Beach Youth Shelter and previously at the Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center. I have seen what happens when life stress, family problems, and trauma events compound and become difficult to manage on your own. That drives why I do this work. In my private practice, I specialize in working with adolescents navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the everyday pressures of growing up. I see clients via telehealth across California with availability on Wednesday mornings, Fridays, and Saturdays. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
Kristina Hillhouse, a licensed clinical social worker, provides outpatient mental health counseling services in California. With an understanding and focus on CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, client-centered, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and more, with an emphasis on aiding individuals in their healing journey. I prioritize the clients' mental health support and strive to offer exceptional care.
Making the decision to start therapy is a profound investment of your time, energy, and vulnerability. If you are looking for a blank-slate clinician who simply nods and listens, we might not be the best fit. I offer a highly engaged, malleable, and unflinching partnership.
My approach is rooted in the belief that while the work of untangling our lives is deeply structural, the room itself doesn't always have to feel heavy. I bring a grounded warmth to my practice—which means knowing how to sit quietly in the gravity of a difficult truth, but also knowing when to break the tension, exhale, and find the light in the sheer complexity of being human. I won’t just sit in silence while you do all the heavy lifting; I am an active collaborator who adapts to exactly where you are.
