My name is Andrea and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals move through anxiety, grief, trauma, infertility and reproductive challenges, and major life transitions.
Many clients come to me when they’re ready for change, but feel stuck on where to begin. In our work together, you’ll have a supportive space to explore your patterns, figure out what’s getting in the way and help you reconnect with who you want to be. If you are seeking a therapist who’s both skilled and authentic, I’m here to help you feel more grounded and aligned in your life.
I feel this work is a vocation driven by humility, love, patience, and integrity. I enjoy developing relationships and assisting people on their way to living life to their fullest potential. I believe the world can change one person at a time through mindful, values-based living. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, with my family and my three little furry friends.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults, teens, and families in medical, community mental health, and addiction treatment settings. I’ve worked with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I bring a calm, supportive, and down‐to‐earth style to therapy so clients feel safe and understood. I also teach social work and sociology at the university level, which keeps me grounded in current research and best practices. Most importantly, I care about meeting you where you are and helping you move toward meaningful change.
Hi, Welcome!
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals find healing, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, substance use challenges, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you're feeling stuck, struggling with past experiences, or simply seeking personal growth, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale. I strive to create an environment that is supportive, honest, and free of judgment; a place where you feel truly seen and emotionally safe. My approach is collaborative and practical. I don’t just help you understand why you feel the way you do; I help you build real tools to navigate it.
I earned my degree from Cal State Fullerton and have extensive experience working in addiction treatment, eating disorder recovery, and women’s issues. Supporting women is especially meaningful to me. I am deeply passionate about helping women navigate challenges related to self-worth, body image, relationships, boundaries, life transitions, and identity. I understand how trauma, societal expectations, and relational dynamics can shape how women see themselves, and I approach this work with both compassion and clarity.
Together, we focus on strengthening mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I blend insight-oriented exploration with concrete strategies, because meaningful change happens when insight meets action. My goal is to help you better understand your patterns, feel more confident managing your emotions, and move forward with greater clarity, self-trust, and resilience.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of social work experience and 5 years of experience as a psychotherapist. My experience ranges from treating children ages 5 and older to treating geriatric individuals aged 70+. I am a bilingual, Latina therapist and I conduct therapy in both English and Spanish. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health and private practice treating a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and more. Much of my work has been focused on working with the Latino community in Southern California as well as disadvantaged communities of color.
